Norling Tibetan Arts motive is to protect and preserve our rich Tibetan culture and tradition. We are proud to say that we are not only preserving our culture but also sharing our culture, tradition and heritage with the international community as well.
Norling Tibetan Arts is founded by two childhood friends in the year 2003. Norling Tibetan Arts first started selling Tibetan traditional carpets (throw rugs), which were handmade by the Tibetans residing in the remote area of Arunachal Pradesh called Miao. The carpets were of the highest standard and no machines were involved. Slowly, all kinds of Tibetan handicrafts and religious items were sold at our stores in Delhi Majnu Ka Tilla.
Chenga Tsering also has a vast knowledge and experience in Tibetan handicrafts business. He worked as a Accountant and Business Management Consultant for 12 years at the Tibetan Self Help Center, Delhi. During his tenure at the Tibetan Self Help Center, he handled exports and accounts with outstanding performance.He is currently the President of Central Pemakoe Welfare Society, Delhi.
Dechen Palden is a hard-working person and has a vast knowledge and experience in Tibetan handicrafts business. He started his career as a salesman at the Charitable Trust Handicraft Export (CTHE) in Gangtok Emporium, Sikkim for 6 years and later got promoted and worked as a Handicraft In-charge at the head office in Delhi for 3 years. After privatization of CTHE, he voluntarily resigned and started Norling Tibetan Arts with his childhood friend in the year 2003.
In the interests of everyone the artist had a responsibility to use his medium well. In the Tibetan culture, most of the paintings are of deities or Buddhas, and they try to send a message of the value of the spiritual. Dalai Lama
